Guidelines
1. Be comfortable
Write about a topic that you are most comfortable with. Pick subjects/ companies that you have an opinion or an analysis or even a breaking news on
2. Structure your Thoughts
Once you have picked up a topic to write, structure your thoughts in the form of introduction, body and conclusion
3. Be creative
Think how the reader will react to your article. Write articles that will invoke some thoughts amongst the readers. Be creative
4. First few words
The first few words of your article are of vital importance to grab your reader’s attention
5. Consider the length
Although we do not have any limit set for your article, usually the acceptable length for a good article is 500-700 words. Remember – it’s the quality not the quantity
6. Proofread your article
Revise the article at least 3 times before you publish. Look for mistakes. See what you could have done to present it better
7. Selecting the Title
After you’ve finalised the article, select an appropriate title for your passage. This might take some time and you might have different options playing in your mind but every minute spent here is worthwhile
8. Don’t conceal identity
Providing your real identity will bring credibility and reputation for your work. That said, we do accept articles from those who want to keep their identity secret
9. Alternative Solution
Another solution would be to type out the article in MS-Word, attach photographs (if any) and email us to editor@indiaspecial.net
