Never talk bad of others!!! Why do I not make fun or speak ill of others?
Not that I don’t like to have a hearty laugh by making fun of others (evil me) or that I don’t like bitching about others behind their back. Just that I have learnt things the harder way. It’s too heavy a price to pay when it backfires, especially for the small pleasures you get it’s not really worth it. Yes you heard it right, in my case, the backfiring happens just too soon and with equal or more magnitude.
So, in a way I don’t need to really worry about my old age or life after death, ‘cos everything is taken care of here itself and the time is always ‘now’. It’s more like instant results, of my deeds (words in this case). More like Instant Karma!
For example, a few years ago (during our first year of job), one of my pals did not show up for work for a couple of weeks. Of course we did not have cell phones to find the whereabouts and how-abouts!
When she came back, she said that she was not keeping well. She had trouble with gaestro-entro-centro-entritis. Phew!!! Some complicated names these ailments have; I guess it was some kind of severe stomach ache with maybe gas trouble too. She was admitted in a hospital, somewhere in Lothkunta, I had never heard of this place. It’s about 8 or 10kms from Paradise (any Hyderabadi would know where Paradise is) and she used to be at Begumpet those days. I lived in a colony called Sunder Nagar – behind the Royal Enfield showroom in Erragadda. These places are pretty posh. So hearing Lothkunta, I laughed out loud. I must have embarrassed her with my laughter. Who on earth would go to Lothkunta after all, such a remote place, especially someone who lived in places like Begumpet or Sunder Nagar or the likes. Well the point is, in no more than a month my family moved from this posh Sunder Nagar to a dirty place called West Venkatapuram – Lothkunta was still better man. This place was one of the dirtiest places I ever lived so far. Of course we moved away from there too, shortly. Well after 6-8 months actually.
Another one happened recently. I was chatting with an SMS pal of mine (well I don’t meet her quite happen as much as we SMS each other), on Sunday night. She said she was doing fine except for her health. She was intermittently falling sick – cold, fever and cough. I gave her a gyan saying these are just part and parcel of the big thing called – Life. So not to worry much about it. Well she did listen and then chose to avoid any further gyan. Guess that’s one last thing someone would want to listen to, especially when one is not keeping well. It was not even a week, before I realized I was completely out of shape – with running nose, heavy cold, dry cough and high fever. I just couldn’t pull myself up and watch a movie. I thought again not to make such mistakes.
With these and more instances, I cannot take the risk of bad-mouthing others. I rather talk good about others for my own good.

Raman,
It is given that it is a timepass article, but still I think some basics of English (like capitalizing proper nouns) should be taken care of.
Otherwise, truly a timepass (palli, in Hyderabadi speak) article.
